[OSEN=정지원 기자] Group iKON will make comeback with the image of powerful youth with the song ‘KILLING ME’ following the national sing-along anthem, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. Will iKON’s challenge succeed.
On August 2 at 6 PM, iKON is making comeback through all music streaming platforms with their new album, ‘NEW KIDS : CONTINUE’. The album is the final series from the trilogy that began with ‘NEW KIDS:BEGIN’ last year on May and ‘RETURN’ released this year on January. Also, the album will be the next batter following the biggest hit of early 2018, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
While ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ surpassed this year’s first 100 million streams, won 11 titles in music broadcasts, and topped music charts for 43 days with its catchy melody and lyrics that are easy to follow, iKON will not settle and make another musical challenge.
iKON will present their unexpected rough charms rather than the ‘real-life boyfriend’ image they’ve formed through ‘MY TYPE’ and ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. They will make comeback with a powerful and masculine image representing the youth in their early and mid-20s. They have also challenged a ‘sharp group dance’ they haven’t presented until now, raising anticipation on a legendary choreography performance.
The dynamic and powerful rhythm that contrasts with the sad and emotional lyrics will capture both the eyes and ears of the public. iKON stated, “It will be a legendary sharp group dance. People will feel joy in not only listening, but also watching”.
YANG HYUN SUK also notified the fans that iKON’s song will make the listeners will cool by writing, “Disaster alert. I assure you, ‘Killing Me’ is the best choice you can make in this mean weather” through his social media.
