iKON Adds ‘Australia’ as Tour Location Beyond Asia… First Concerts in Sydney·Melbourne For the First Time

[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] Group iKON added cities Sydney and Melbourne, Australia as their tour locations to continue the group’s ‘global syndrome’.
On August 29 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the poster of iKON’s ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN SYDNEY/MELBOURNE’ through their official social media. Members of iKON were holding mics and making facial expressions as if they were really into the performance, grabbing the viewers’ attention in an instant.
iKON will meet Australian fans on October 25 at 7 PM in Sydney’s ‘Big Top, Luna Park’ through ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN SYDNEY’ and on October 27 in Melbourne’s ‘Festival Hall’ through ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN MELBOURNE’.
After successfully wrapping up their concert in Seoul on the 18th, iKON started their overseas tour with the start of their Japan tour, held from the 24th until the 26th. The group captured the hearts of 32,000 fans by holding the ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2018’ in Fukuoka.
The fans are already excited and curious on how iKON will extend their influence over Asia after shaking the island of Japan and capture the hearts of Australian fans. The tour adds more meaning since it will be iKON’s first-ever performances in Australia.
iKON’s overseas tour is expanding as Sydney and Melbourne have been added on as additional tour locations on the 28th. iKON will continue their Japan tour at the same time, while performing in Taipei on 9/22, Kuala Lumpur on 10/13, Bangkok from 10/19~10/20, Singapore on 11/4, Manila on 11/11, Jakarta on 11/18, and in Hong Kong on 11/25.
More tour locations will be announced and added on to the tour. People are paying close attention on what kind of milestones iKON will achieve worldwide, after the group’s huge success in the K-Pop scene.
