BLACKPINK JENNIE, Solo Comeback D-1… Unveiled Reactions on ‘SOLO’
[일간스포츠=황지영 기자] The release of BLACKPINK JENNIE’s first solo track ‘SOLO’ is now only a day ahead.
On November 11, YG Entertainment revealed JENNIE’s solo debut D-1 teaser poster through their official blog.
JENNIE showed off her fashion senses by wearing an epicene black rider jacket matched with a feminine and shiny chain.
Leaning her body towards the outside while on a sports car, JENNIE captures’ the viewers’ attention by staring at a certain place with her emotional eyes.
JENNIE received the spotlight by revealing the performance of her upcoming solo track ‘SOLO’ through ‘BLACKPINK 2018 TOUR [IN YOUR AREA] SEOUL X BC CARD’ held in Seoul KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Arena) for two days, on the 10th and 11th. She dominated the stage by presenting the concept containing her contrasting charms as a delicate young girl and as a strong independent woman, coexisting in her outer and inner self. The fans who witnessed JENNIE’s solo performance containing catchy sounds as powerful moves cheered after reviewing, ‘I’m already addicted’ and ‘She took my heart’.
‘SOLO’ was written by ‘hit-maker’ TEDDY who worked on all songs released by BLACKPINK since debut, while TEDDY and 24 composed the track together. It is a Hip-Hop track incorporating elements of Pop music, with outstanding lyrics and producing. The direct and sincere lyrics on top of the beautiful chords and simple melody line on the intro is the key point of the song.
JENNIE’s first solo track, ‘SOLO’, will be released through all Korean music platforms on the 12th at 6 PM.
