‘YG TREASURE BOX’, Who is the Trainee That Challenged BANG YE DAM?
[텐아시아=우빈 기자] BANG YE DAM’s performance to maintain his debut group position to become a member of YG’s next generation boy group grabbed everyone’s attention.
Today (13th), YG Entertainment noticed a fiercer competition between the selected debut group known as Treasure 7 and the remaining trainees through the first preview of the 5th episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
Trainees including KIM JUNKYU, MASHIHO, PARK JEONG WOO, SO JUNGHWAN, HARUTO, and HA YOONBIN were selected as Treasure 7 by receiving the highest ratings among all trainees.
Meanwhile, 5 out of the remaining 21 trainees challenged Treasure 7 through the ‘1:1 position swap’ challenge. KIM YEON GYU unexpectedly took PARK JEONG WOO’s position after showing off his extraordinary vocals on episode 4.
The question of which trainee will challenge BANG YE DAM to take his position became a hot topic in the preview.
When asked about who he would challenge, KIM SEUNG HOON who used to practice with BANG YE DAM as a member of Treasure A raised tension by stating, “I always thought of YE DAM”, but the trainee who actually faced BANG YE DAM was not revealed through the preview, raising the viewers’ curiosities.
BANG YE DAM got on the stage after selecting Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ as the song he would perform. BANG YE DAM grabbed the audiences’ attention at once during the intro with his sweet vocals. KANG SEOKHWA who was watching the performance responded, “Are they playing the original AR?”, praising BANG YE DAM’s high-quality performance.
BANG YE DAM kept his composure during the entire performance, while YG’s representative producer YANG HYUN SUK also examined BANG YE DAM’s performance while flowing with the rhythm.
‘YG TREASURE BOX’ pre-releases every Friday night at 10 PM through V LIVE (V App) and releases through JTBC2 and YouTube on the same night at 12 AM.
