All 7 Debut Members of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ Share Greetings for the First Time… 1.39 Million Viewers Watch the Special Live·150 Million♥
[스포츠조선닷컴=정안지 기자] The 7 debut members selected as members of YG’s next generation boy group have shared their greetings to the fans for the first time in the midst of heated reactions.
BANG YE DAM, HARUTO, SO JUNG HWAN, KIM JUN KYU, PARK JEONG WOO, YOON JAEHYUK, and CHOI HYUNSUK met the fans for the first time through VLIVE’s special live as YG’s upcoming boy group on the 25th.
The special live that went on for an hour and 30 minutes brought out heated reactions and was watched by 1,392,000 live viewers. The viewers also sent 154,490,000 hearts to support YG’s upcoming boy group.
The debut members shared their thoughts on making their dreams of debut come true.
BANG YE DAM stated, “I felt happy and relieved that I’m finally making debut. I was able to grow while being evaluated”, while HARUTO stated, “I think I had good results since my parents came to Korea to support me”.
SO JUNG HWAN revealed his thoughts by stating, “I felt like ‘I made it’. My skills improved since a lot of my older brothers helped me”. KIM JUN KYU stated, “It was like a dream. I’m happy to be able to keep presenting myself”.
The debut members who were confirmed to make debut after the broadcast also reminded themselves of the time they checked the results.
PARK JEONG WOO stated, “I shed some tears after seeing my name. I got less tense as the competition was over”, while YOON JAEHYUK stated, “I couldn’t even imagine. I emptied my mind, and I was happy at the amazing results”.
CHOI HYUN SUK stated, “I actually thought I wouldn’t make it. When I checked the results, my mind blanked out and there was a spark. I’m very grateful”.
In addition, the debut members looked back at their progress and process including their first interview shooting episode with ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, and their most impressive performance from the entire competition.
On the final episode of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, trainees including HARUTO, BANG YE DAM, and SO JUNG HWAN were confirmed to make debut by being ranked at no. 1 on the rap, vocals, and dance positions respectively. KIM JUN KYU also joined the debut group by receiving the highest score among all trainees excluding the 3 members.
PARK JEONG WOO, YOON JAEHYUK, and CHOI HYUNSUK’s debut were announced later through the ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ VLIVE channel land YG Entertainment’s official blog.
BANG YE DAM, HARUTO, SO JUNG HWAN, KIM JUN KYU, PARK JEONG WOO, YOON JAEHYUK, and CHOI HYUN SUK will make debut in the K-Pop scene in the future after their preparation period is over.
