[서울뉴시스=최지윤기자] The dance practice video of ‘PLAYING WITH FIR’ by group ‘BLACKPINK’ surpassed 100 million views.
According to YG Entertainment, the dance practice video of BLACKPINK’s ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ uploaded on YouTube surpassed 100 million views of March 2, 8 PM.
‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ is the title song of BLACKPINK’s second digital single, ‘SQUARE TWO’, released back in November 1, 2016. The lyrics which metaphorically state the heart of a girl who suddenly fell in love as playing with fire impresses the listeners. It is said that 4 world-famous choreographers participated in creating the dance for the song.
All 7 MVs released by BLACKPINK has surpassed 100 million views including the MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ which is at 600 million views, ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ at 500 million views, ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ and ‘WHISTLE’ at 300 million views, JENNIE’s ‘SOLO’ at 200 million views, and ‘STAY’ at 100 million views. Furthermore, the MV for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ is currently at 690 million views, setting the best record among all K-Pop boy and girl groups.
BLACKPINK will decorate the finale of their Asia tour in Taipei on March 3. BLACKPINK will then perform at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ for the first time as K-Pop idols on April 12 and 19.
