BLACKPINK Moved to Tears During Encore Concert in Bangkok… “Proud of All Members”

[서울경제=최재경기자] Members of BLACKPINK were moved to tears during their encore concert in Bangkok, which was the final concert of their world tour. On September 29 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 15 of the ‘BLACKPINK DIARIES’ through their official blog.

In the video, BLACKPINK prepared for their encore concert in IMPACT ARENA, Bangkok. JENNIE whispered, “We were so happy and had a lot of fun. Let’s meet again, BLINKs” towards the camera.

After getting on stage, BLACKPINK dominated the arena with their spectacular performances and decorated the place with pink lights.
LISA stated, “A lot of people told us that ‘BLACKPINK gives me strength’ during our tour. However, on the contrary, everyone here rather gave us strength and touched our hears everytime”, sharing her ardent feelings.
At the end of the concert, JENNIE made the crowd react by stating, “Thank you for giving us good energy, LISA. You’re such a great younger sister. I love you”, in Thai. The members were moved to tears.
ROSÉ continued, “I’m proud of each member since I think all four of us did a good job” while shedding tears. The members then hugged each other while they wiped their tears away. The audience supported BLACKPINK with enthusiastic tears.
BLACKPINK had time to share their thoughts on their world tour which was held from November last year until July 2019. The tour was held in a total of 23 cities in 4 continents, including Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania.
JISOO shared her thoughts by stating, “I’m happy and glad that all of us completed our tour in good health, without being injured”. ROSÉ, who had pressure on her first-ever world tour, stated “I’m the youngest member, but I believe all members had their own troubles. I’m proud of everyone”. She also shared her affectionate feelings towards the members by adding, “I think we’ll grow more as BLACKPINK”.
LISA reminisced her memories with the fans by stating, “We’ve had moments with BLINKs all over the world that will last forever in our memories”. JENNIE stated, “All concerts had its own feeling and energy, and was filled with meaningful moments”. She also raised expectations on the group’s new tour by adding, “I hope to meet more fans on our next tour. It will definitely come true”.
Meanwhile, the MV for ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ by BLACKPINK surpassed 600M views on YouTube. The figure was reached on September 29 at 6 AM, in 177 days since the video’s release.
The record renewed the fastest record in K-Pop group history, which was previously held by BLACKPINK’s MV for their mega hit song, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (600M views in 211 days). ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ is renewing records and titles set by ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ at a fast pace.
