iKON Reveals Lyrics for ‘DIVE’ Through Concept Photos… To Be Released on the 6th
[헤럴드POP=김나율 기자] iKON’s strong visuals and part of the lyrics for their upcoming title song ‘DIVE’ have been revealed for the first time, gathering the fans’ attention.
On February 2 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the concept poster for ‘DIVE’, the title song of iKON’s third mini album ‘i DECIDE’, through their official blog.
The poster showed the 6 members of iKON including JAY, BOBBY, SONG, JU-NE, DK, and CHAN. With the fiery flame in red as the background, the members’ firm and sturdy eyes and charisma stood out.
In addition, part of the lyrics of ‘DIVE’, which presented both strength and pure love, were written next to each member, grabbing the viewers’ attention in an instant.
The revealed lyrics were ‘I’M WILLING TO BE TRAPPED IN YOUR WORLD’, ‘IF YOU PLACE ME ON THE EDGE OF A CLIFF, I’LL SAY I WANT TO FLY AND FALL’, ‘YOU CAN MAKE ME FLY WITHOUT WINGS’, ‘EVEN IF I GET HURT, I STILL WANT TO BE WITH YOU. YOU’RE WORTH IT’, ‘I’LL PROTECT THAT BEAUTIFUL SMILE OF YOURS. YOU JUST STAY WHERE YOU ARE’, and ‘I WILL DIVE INTO YOUR WORLD’.
‘DIVE’ is a song in a Dance genre with repeating country guitar riffs and abundant sounds which will impress its listeners. The lyrics which send out the courage of being able to do anything for the one you love will absorb the listeners and is expected to make them feel empathy.
‘i DECIDE’, an album being presented by iKON in approximately a year after the group reformed into a 6-member group, presents iKON’s new attitude and will. After achieving growth through the ‘NEW KIDS’ series, iKON expressed their will and passion of choosing and focusing on their own future paths. The album will contain a total of 5 tracks including ‘DIVE’, in addition to a song composed, written, and produced by DK and 3 songs which BOBBY was credited as writers.
On February 6 at 5 PM, an hour prior to the release of ‘i DECIDE’, iKON will meet their fans through ‘Comeback Live FM iKON’(with VLIVE).
