ROSÉ of BLACKPINK X Lady Gaga Turn to ‘Promoters’, “Take a Listen”
[스타뉴스=김수진 기자] ROSÉ of girl group BLACKPINK(JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA) promoted Lady Gaga’s new song ‘Sour Candy’.
On May 28, ROSÉ uploaded a video containing a part of the song ‘Sour Candy’ from Lady Gaga’s 6th album ‘Chromatica’ as soon as it was released, through her social media. The song ‘Sour Candy’ from Lady Gaga’s 6th album ‘Chromatica’ was pre-released today at 8PM(KST).
ROSÉ wrote, “We(BLACKPINK) feel grateful to participate, Gaga! We love you so much. We hope you like it”. She added, “Everyone, BLACKPINK and Lady Gaga’s new song finally came out! Please take a listen”.
Lady Gaga also uploaded the same clip as ROSÉ as soon as the song was released, through her social media. Furthermore, Lady Gaga transformed her hair color to pink prior to her album release, which grabbed the people’s attention. Some fans are reacting that it reminds them of BLACKPINK. The global fans of BLACKPINK have been paying keen attention to Lady Gaga and BLACKPINK’s collaboration.
‘Sour Candy’ is a Dance-Pop song with lyrics which state that one can have both a strong charisma and warmness.
YG Entertainment explained, “The song goes well with the team name of BLACKPINK, which was created with the pretty color ‘Pink’ and the color ‘Black’ with the meaning that ‘it’s not all’”.
