YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Notices Special Communication with Fans… BANG YE DAM’s ‘WAYO’ Release Countdown
[헤럴드POP=박서현 기자] BANG YE DAM of YG’s rookie group TREASURE will host a special release countdown live with the members for his digital single ‘WAYO’.
On May 30 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded a ‘TREASURE PRE-DEBUT SPECIAL RELEASE COUNTDOWN LIVE’ poster through their official blog(www.yg-life.com).
According to the poster, the live broadcast will take place in Naver VLIVE on the release date of ‘WAYO’, June 5th(Friday), from 4 PM until 5:30 PM.
All 12 members of TREASURE will make appearance to make special memories with the fans. As BANG YE DAM’s first solo track ‘WAYO’ was part of TREASURE’s debut project and a special gift for the fans, all members will make appearance to add a special meaning.
Furthermore, they will reveal music video behind stories and introduce the song ‘WAYO’ for the Treasure Makers(fandom) for the first time, as well as revealing episodes related to their contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’ and ‘Fact Check’.
A special communication with the fans will also take place. They will listen to questions regarding contents released by TREASURE, as well as making some of their wishes come true. The questions and wishes will be entered through Naver Form available on TREASURE V App Post, until June 1st(Mon) at 12 PM.
BANG YE DAM’s pre-release digital single ‘WAYO’ is a song that expresses the empty and lonely emotions without being able to accept a breakup with BANG YE DAM’s unique and mellow vocals. YOON of WINNER and LEE CHAN HYUK of AKMU helped write and compose the song, while YG’s producer FUTURE BOUNCE wrote, composed, and arranged the track. Andrew Choi also helped compose the track to add completeness to the song.
Furthermore, senior artists of YG including TAEYANG of BIGBANG and ROSÉ of BLACKPINK have presented their own covers of ‘WAYO’, raising anticipation on the song as well as warming the listeners’ hearts.
TREASURE is a 12-member boy group composed of CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, SO JUNG HWAN, and BANG YE DAM. The group is gathering attention as YG’s next generation boy group that will lead BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON.
After confirming their upcoming debut in July, TREASURE is planning to release new songs 3~4 times from July until the end of the year. On June 5th at 6 PM, prior to their official debut, the digital single and music video for BANG YE DAM’s ‘WAYO’ will be released to pre-heat the group’s upcoming full-scale debut.
