BLACKPINK Steals Attention Through Their ‘Close-up Shots’ With Colorful Visuals

[iMBC=김혜영 기자] The visual concepts of BLACKPINK’s upcoming single are unveiling one by one, raising the global fans’ anticipation.

On June 20, YG Entertainment revealed the third title poster of BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ through their official blog.

The colorful visuals of JISOO, JENNIE, LISA, and ROSÉ were captured in close-up. Following the black and white concept image and teaser video, the new poster colored in pink grabbed the viewers’ attention.

JISOO revealed her elegant charms with her sentimental and deep eyes. JENNIE presented impressive hair in ash-blond color and her eye makeup, strongly expressed in her left eye.

LISA presented her unrivaled aura with her bang style and seductive facial expression. ROSÉ emitted mystic vibes with her oddness and varied aura.

The bottom part of the poster showed the title of BLACKPINK’s upcoming pre-release single, ‘How You Like That’, which raised the global fans’ anticipation.

BLACKPINK will make comeback with ‘How You Like That’ on June 26 at 6PM, KST. They will then release their second single in July~August in special format, followed up by their first-ever official album release in September.

On the 26th(local time), the group will have their comeback performance of ‘How You Like That’ on NBC’s ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. Foreign media including UK Metro have spotlighted that it’s “The K-Pop girl group first appearance on the show”.

BLACKPINK has recently proved their global presence through ‘Sour Candy’, the song collaborated with Lady Gaga. Through the song, BLACKPINK became the first-ever K-Pop girl group to be ranked within the top 40 of the ‘Hot 100’, which is one of Billboard’s main charts. The song also remained in UK’s Official Singles Top 100 chart for 3 consecutive weeks.

As BLACKPINK has renewed their own ‘first and best’ records with every song they have ever released since debut, the people are looking forward to what milestones they will set in the global music industry.
