BLACKPINK’s New MV Surpasses 300M Views in 21 Days… Fastest Record in K-Pop History
[연합뉴스=오보람 기자] BLACKPINK’s latest MV surpassed 300M views in 21 days since its release.
Today (17th), YG Entertainment revealed that BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ MV, released last month on the 26th, surpassed 300M views on YouTube as of July 17 at 6 PM.
The record was achieved in 21 days and 11 minutes since its release and allowed the MV to become the fastest K-Pop MV in history to surpass 300M views.
The previous record holding K-Pop MV was BLACKPINK’s ‘Kill This Love’. The according video surpassed 300M views in 32 days and 5 hours.
BLACKPINK has renewed their own record with ‘How You Like That’, shortening the time it took by 11 days.
The MV for ‘How You Like That’ has previously set the fastest records among all MVs on YouTube by surpassing 100M views in 32 hours and 200M views in 7 days.
BLACKPINK, known as the ‘YouTube Queens’, added 4M new subscribers to their YouTube channel after the release of ‘How You Like That’, and has a total of 41.8M subscribers, which is the biggest figure among all unified K-Pop artist channels.
BLACKPINK currently has a total of 19 videos with over 100M views including MVs and dance practice videos.
