Selena Gomez to Appear on BLACKPINK’s ‘Ice Cream’ Music Video, ‘Anticipation↑’
[이데일리=정시내 기자] Pop star Selena Gomez will appear on the MV for group BLACKPINK’s upcoming single, ‘Ice Cream’.
On August 26 at 4 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘Ice Cream’ D-2 poster with Selena Gomez’s individual cut through their official blog.
Selena Gomez grabbed the people’s attention with her ‘doll visuals’, which was close to perfection. Her stripe beach look in red and white stripes along with her fluttering hair made her freshness healthy looks stand out even more.
The song ‘Ice Cream’ is gathering attention just by the fact that two globally popular female artists, BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez, are collaborating through the song.
Whether Selena Gomez will appear on the MV for ‘Ice Cream’ was also a matter of interest for many people. Selena Gomez has recently uploaded a photo of a pink vehicle with a license plate which read ‘Selpink’ on her Instagram, which raised the fans’ curiosities.
Although a lot of information regarding the song other than its title is still in veil, the news that Selena Gomez will appear on the MV is raising the global fans’ anticipation.
YG has previously hinted that the song ‘Ice Cream’ will be differentiated from BLACKPINK’s existing hits such as ‘Kill This Love’ and ‘How You Like That’ by stating, “The music is cool and fits very well with the hot summer”.
