Gummy is releasing her new album in Japan, which includes a song that she recorded with BigBang’s Daesung.

According to YG Entertainment last Wednesday, Gummy is releasing her second mini album FATE(s) in Japan on April 3.

Her new song FATE(s) is about people who accept their fate, but still find love in their lives. Gummy expresses the different angles of love with her powerful voice.

Gummy and Daesung, a member of BigBang who belongs to the same agency as her, collaborated in Dear You in the past. But it is the first time Gummy included a their duet song together in her album.

The duet track Dear You is especially well known for its heart-warming melody, and is also one of Gummy’s favorites.

A Tokyo based producer, Jeff Miyahara, who was in charge of producing songs for big singers like Amuro Namie and JUJU, has joined Gummy this time for her new album.

Jeff Miyahara said, “I fell in love with Gummy’s voice immediately when first I heard it. She is absolutely amazing in her detailed expression and her beautiful voice reminds me of love and all kinds of stories.”
