BLACKPINK Reveals ‘THE ALBUM’ Jacket Making Film… Full of 4 Individual Charms
[마이데일리=박윤진 기자] Girl group BLACKPINK revealed the behind story of their jacket shooting scene, full of their individual charms.
On October 15 at 4 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded BLACKPINK’s ‘THE ALBUM’ JACKET MAKING FILM through their official blog.
Members JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA grabbed the people’s attention with their unrivaled visuals. The members revealed their jolly charms towards the camera after revealing that “This is the jacket shooting scene for our official debut album”.
BLACKPINK continued the shooting full of smiles, while creating their amazing album photos full of both elegant and seductive beauty and charms.
BLACKPINK stated, “Since it’s our official debut album, we prepared many songs including the title track ‘Lovesick Girls’. We prepared songs in various genres, so please enjoy”.
BLACKPINK’s ‘THE ALBUM’, their official debut album released in 4 years after making debut, dominated various global charts after its release on the 2nd(physical copies were released on the 6th).
According to Gaon Charts announced today, ‘THE ALBUM’ was ranked at no. 1 on the albums category for the 41st week(10/4~10/10) of 2020. Over 600 thousand copies were sold in a day and a half, setting the biggest initial sales record in K-Pop girl group history.
‘THE ALBUM’ was also ranked at no. 2 on the ‘Billboard 200’, which is US Billboard’s main albums chart, and UK’s Official Albums Chart, proving their strong presence in the major Pop market.
They were also ranked at no. 1 on the Billboard ‘Artist 100’ chart, as well as charting 2 songs on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ for the first time as a K-Pop girl group.
