MINO Reveals Concept Teaser Clip for His Second Album ‘TAKE’
[한국경제TV=유병철 기자] MINO revealed a teaser clip hinting the concept of his second album ‘TAKE’ on the 21st.
The video reminded the viewers of a mono drama, raising curiosities of global fans on what the hidden message is.
The video showed MINO making heavy footsteps towards somewhere. Then MINO’s face looking into a telescope and his repeated movement of walking or running were cross edited.
His tired face, MINO watching himself, and the contrast between the two egos grabbed the people’s attention. The former had a free-looking hip style, while the latter wore a white shirt neatly, presenting a totally different mood.
The ambient sounds, backgrounds with restricted colors, and the sensuous visuals went along together, raising curiosities on the concept he will show through his second album ‘TAKE’.
MINO will release his second album ‘TAKE’ on October 30. The title song is named ‘Run Away’. MINO was credited as both the writer and composer of the track and produced the track himself. Other information on the album are still in veil.
MINO has received favorable reviews with his first solo album ‘XX’ released back in November 2018, which was filled with 12 tracks all produced by himself. The album topped iTunes charts in 17 different countries, while its title track ‘Fiancé’ was ranked at no. 1 on 6 major Korean music charts, as well as dominating weekly and monthly charts at the time. He also proved the ‘Fiancé’ syndrome by dominating Hip-hop category trophies on year-end K-Pop award ceremonies.
MINO has been exhibiting his amazing talents on multiple realms of art and culture including music, variety, DJ, fashion, photography, and art. It is expected that MINO will show his matured musical capacities and his identity even more clearly through his 2nd solo album, being released in approximately 2 years.
