[OSEN=지민경 기자] While MINO’s second solo album is receiving positive reviews and being placed on the top ranks of various music charts, he will present his first comeback performance today.

According to YG Entertainment on the 31st, MINO will appear on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ today and perform the title song ‘Run away’ and ‘OK man’ from his second album ‘TAKE’.

The title track ‘Run away’ is an emotional Hip-hop song differentiated from MINO’s signature sounds he has been presenting, with continuous and fierce low-tone rap.

‘OK man’ featuring BOOBY is a fun Hip-hop song with heavy bass sounds, drums, and unique fx sounds. The song will show the chemistry of MINO and BOBBY and has grabbed the fans’ attention way before its release.

It has been approximately 4 years since MINO and BOBBY performed together, since their collaborative unit activities through MOBB. The people are paying keen attention on how the two people will captivate the fans through newness and explosive synergy effects, as they’ve dominated Hip-hop awards back in 2016 when they were active as unit MOBB.

The title track ‘Run away’ from MINO’s second album is placed on the top ranks of major music platforms after its release on the 30th at 6 PM. It was ranked at no. 1 on Naver Music and Vibe, and no. 2 on Bugs and Genie. Furthermore, songs other than the title track including ‘Ok man’ also successfully charted-in, receiving a lot of love from the listeners.

The global fans are responding heatedly. The fans are reviewing, “MINO is art. A solo artist who inspires”, “This is MINO. MINO you trust and listen to”, and “MINO evolves. All songs are worthy of becoming the title track”.

It is because all songs from MINO’s second album successfully grabbed the music fans’ tastes. The 12 tracks of ‘TAKE’ prove MINO’s musical capacity and art in different ways. The unique yet trendy sounds of ‘Ok man’, The space and vocals on ‘Wa’, and the strong hook of ‘Hop in’ have flow which is hard to skip while listening throughout the album.

MINO, who wrote and composed all 12 tracks on his second album, introduced his work by stating “I tried hard to capture myself being devoted to my profession(as a musician)”. He added, “I wanted to compose my album so that it remains on people’s hearts for a long time, like a movie with 12 impressive takes(scenes). That’s why I named the album ‘TAKE’”.
