BLACKPINK Announces Major Project… ‘Gathers Attention’ of Global Fans

On November 23 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded a teaser clip titled ‘BLACKPINK – AROUND THE WORLD‘ through their official blog(www.yg-life.com).
Starting with Seoul, the satellite views and local times of major global cities were listed. Along with BLACKPINK’s signature sound, the song ‘How You Like That’ began playing, raising the curiosities of viewers.
Since the short 30-second clip was revealed for the first time, no detailed information on the project has been revealed, raising the curiosities and anticipation of global fans. Considering that actual promotion usually begins a month before, BLACKPINK is expected to hold a big event at the end of the year.
BLACKPINK has solidified their status in the global music market through active promotional activities. Starting with their collaborative song ‘Sour Candy’ with Pop star Lady Gaga on May, the group wrote new K-Pop girl group history with their song ‘How You Like That’ on June, ‘Ice Cream’ on August, and their official debut album ‘THE ALBUM’ on October.
