PARK JEONG WOO X MASHIHO X JUNKYO of TREASURE Reveals Debut Album Lyric Posters… Comforting+Hopeful Message
[헤럴드POP=정혜연 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed the 12 core sentences from the lyrics of their title track ‘MY TREASURE’ from their upcoming official debut album, noticing their upcoming messages of comfort and hope.
On January 8, YG Entertainment uploaded 3 lyric posters of ‘MY TREASURE’ with photos of PARK JEONG WOO, MASHIHO, and JUNKYU through their official blog. The posters included sentences ‘Don’t worry about a thing’, ‘Laugh with passion once again’, and ‘It’s okay if it doesn’t work, start over’.
The short yet sincere sentences touched the viewers’ hearts rather than grandiose flowery words. The lyric puzzle pieces of ‘MY TREASURE’, unveiled sentence by sentence have finally been fully revealed, making the fans look forward to TREASURE’s ‘healing song’ even more.
TREASURE has been introducing warm sentences from the lyrics of ‘MY TREASURE’ including ‘Fresh as if we woke up from a dream’, ‘It’s alright everything will be fine’, ‘Like the clear sky waits for us’, ‘Better days will come’, ‘You’re prettier when you smile’, ‘We’ll eventually shine’, ‘Don’t ever lose your smile’, ‘You will shine when tomorrow comes’, and ‘Come to me anytime and hold my hand’.
‘MY TREASURE’ is known to be TREASURE’s first attempt on a bright mood Pop genre song. It seems that in such hard times, the daily languages of comfort on top of the beautiful and exciting melody combined with TREASURE’s vocals will shine and present a hopeful message.
YG has also previously described the song by stating, “The song’s lyrics contains meaning that everyone is a unique treasure-like being”. They also explained, “Has the hopeful message of ‘Let’s cheer up in hard times. The sun will rise and shine again tomorrow’”.
TREASURE’s official debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ will be released on the 11th at 6 PM, while physical copies will be released the next day, on the 12th. The physical album will contain a total of 12 tracks, while TREASURE plans to meet the fans 2 hours prior to the release of their album, on the 11th at 4 PM, through the Naver V LIVE ‘COUNTDOWN PARTY’.
