Comeback D-3 iKON… “Practicing for ‘Kingdom’ at the Same Time, So Happy”
[일간스포츠=황지영 기자] The key lyrics which allowed the viewers to assume the mood of the new songs and the members’ MV visuals were revealed.
On February 28, YG Entertainment uploaded the third lyric teaser of iKON’s new digital single ‘Why Why Why’ through their official social media account. The video showed BOBBY·CHAN and part of the lyrics of the song, following the teasers of JAY·DK·SONG·JU-NE.
While leaning against an electronic display, BOBBY presented pitiful vibes through his calm eyes which seemed to show that he had a personal story. His restricted emotional expression and the lyrics ‘You are getting far away even in my dreams’ mixed together left a strong impression.
CHAN sit alone in a café, presenting lonely vibes. The lyrics ‘From relationships to lovers’ added pitiful and earnest lyricism. The lyric teaser has teased part of the melody of ‘Why Why Why’ along with JU-NE’s soulful vocals, raising curiosities on the full version of the song.
iKON is spending their busiest days ever since making debut due to preparing for their upcoming comeback as well as practicing for Mnet’s boy group survival program ‘Kingdom’, which is scheduled to premiere on April 1. The members of iKON who are working hard day and night at the practice room have stated, “We don’t get tired due to the surge of adrenaline we get, when we think about the time when we’ll meet our fans. We would like to present great performances for the fans who have supported and waited for us, to repay the love we’ve received”.
