YG To Sell BLACKPINK’s Coachella Festival Outfit on ZEPTO For a Limited Time

YG Entertainment said on the 8th that a new type of content ‘the SameE’ opened on ZEPETO, Asia’s biggest metaverse platform. It realized the reality utilizing 3D real life modeling into the world of virtual reality.

‘the SameE’ is a fan project space located right across YG’s new building. Under the theme of ‘The other identity of an artist is fan’, it was designed to continue on the strong relationship between fan and artists, and there’s a café, MD shop and event·exhibition space.

Now fans who couldn’t physically visit ‘the SameE’ space can visit the area online without any time or space restrictions through the ZEPETO service.

Users can meet YG artists’ goods displayed in the MD shop located on the underground floor of ‘the SameE’ as if they’re in the real space, and can view various facilities that have BLACKPINK’s music video and posters.

YG Entertainment official said “We plan to present a differentiated experience to global fans through continuous cooperation with the metaverse platform in line with the non-contact era”. They then added “We will strengthen our fan’s sense of belonging with colorful yet innovative attempts, and we’re trying to minimize the emotional distance they feel from our artists”

Meanwhile for those who visit ‘the SameE’ of ZEPETO, a chance to purchase BLACKPINK’s 2019 Coachella festival outfit for a limited time. Also, additional events such as giving out t-shirts are will be conducted.
