YG TREASURE to Make a Comeback on the 15th of February…“Will Carry Active Promotions”

TREASURE will be making a comeback on the 15th of February. The title of the new album is ‘THE SECOND STEP: CHAPTER ONE’.
TREASURE’s ‘THE SECOND STEP’ series will be released in the form of a mini album. Although the track list hasn’t been unveiled just yet, as more new songs are expected to be contained, it is presumed that they’ll carry on active album promotions.
TREASURE’s ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series which showed exponential growth along with their debut, were released in the form of a single album except for the last chapter. TREASURE plans to meet with fans on a larger scale with the ultimate support of YG in the new year.
The motional teaser clip posted on YG’s official blog raised expectations for their comeback. The 12 dots that were separated in the video became connected like organisms and changed into mysterious shapes such as treasure, light, and two circles which represents TREASURE, drawing attention from global fans.
The message ‘DO TREASURE TO CONNECT..TO BE ONE..TO YOU’ / ‘JOIN US IN THE SECOND STEP OF THE TREASURE EFFECT’ also drew curiosity of fans as to what it meant. This is because the message hinted on active interaction between TREASURE and TREASURE MAKERS to achieve a complete ‘TREASURE EFFECT’.
YG said “We reflected the sincerity of TREASURE members who always want to be with TREASURE MAKERS into the overall ‘THE SECOND STEP’ project. Their path to draw the story of their second growth will shine even more with the participation of fans. Please look forward to their journey in taking over the whole year with fans”.
TREASURE who made their debut in August 2020 released 4 albums in just 5 months with the speedy yet focused strategy of YG. They sold a total of one million albums and established their presence as a global rising stars. Attention is now being drawn to what kind of musical colors and performance they will show, after sweeping Rookie of the Year Awards at major music awards last year.
