iKON To Make a Comeback In a Year And One Month…“Recently Filmed M/V For New Song”
[엑스포츠뉴스=이슬 기자] Group iKON will be coming back with a new album in about a year and one month. Attention is being drawn by global fans as the release comes before their concert set to be held in June.
YG Entertainment released iKON’s ‘COMING SOON’ poster on the 11th via their official social media channel, hinting that their comeback is to come soon.
The poster showed iKON’s team logo in a three-dimensional way, leaving a strong impression. It also stated ‘NEW ALBUM’ beneath the logo, causing even more curiosity among fans.
Although detailed information on album format or release date hasn’t been unveiled yet, this poster was enough to excite global fans. iKON recently said during their Naver VLIVE broadcast that they “finished filming the M/V for their new song”.
iKON had also recently confirmed their concert on the 25th and 25th of June at Seoul Olympic Hall in Olympic Park. Their new album release means fans get to meet an even-more diverse set list, adding to the already hyped atmosphere.
Meanwhile, iKON is a leading K-POP group that produced various hit songs since their debut in 2015, such as ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘My type’ Apology’ and ‘RHYTHM TA’.
After coming back as a 6-member group, they released a mini-album ‘i DECIDE’, along with digital single ‘Why Why Why’. Their song ‘At ease’ which was performed on Mnet’s ‘KINGDONG: LEGENDARY WAR’ also gained favorable reviews, opening up a 2nd chapter in their career.
