According to her agency YG Entertainment on April 4th, JISOO’s debut solo album ‘ME,’ released on March 31st, has exceeded 1.02 million sales (based on Hanteo Chart’s records).

eDaily confirmed from both Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart, the two major domestic music charts in South Korea, that this is the first time a single album by a K-Pop female solo artist has surpassed 1 million sales.

YG Entertainment previously announced that pre-orders for ‘ME’ had surpassed 1.31 million copies, signaling the birth of a million-seller in the making. JISOO has already experienced the joy of achieving million-seller status with her group BLACKPINK’s album. With this milestone, she has now become the first K-Pop female artist to surpass 1 million sales with both a group and solo album.

JISOO’s title track ‘FLOWER’ has also been making waves in the music industry. The song has topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 63 countries, including the United States. The music video on YouTube has garnered over 70 million views and is on the verge of breaking the 80 million mark.
