According to YG Entertainment on September 6th, AKMU’s fourth single title track ‘Love Lee’ recorded first place on Melon’s TOP100 (as of 9 am). This confirms the song’s popularity as it tops the main chart of Korea’s largest music platform.
The song maintains its top position in real-time charts of other major domestic music platforms such as Genie, Naver VIBE, Bugs, and FLO. Even two weeks after its release, the song is receiving immense love, marking its success as the “people’s choice” and embarking on a long-run popularity.
During the album’s comeback press conference, LEE SUHYUN mentioned, “The more we worked as AKMU, the more challenging it became to align with my brother’s musical color. So, this time, I made sure to get a promise that we’d create the music I wanted.” LEE CHANHYUK also expressed, “Before AKMU gets older, I thought we should also try something refreshing and produce songs that can be enjoyed happily.
