YG Announces BLACKPINK’s Full Comeback and World Tour for 2025

According to YG Entertainment, as of today, the choreography video for BLACKPINK’s ‘HOW YOU LIKE THAT’ has surpassed 1.7 billion views on YouTube around 2 AM. This comes roughly four years and two months after its release on July 6, 2020, setting a record as the first and highest-viewed K-pop dance video ever.

In light of this milestone, YG Entertainment stated, “BLACKPINK plans to return in full force in 2025, including a world tour to meet fans,” which has excited the fanbase.

BLACKPINK reigns as the undeniable ‘YouTube Queens’, leaving a significant mark in the history of K-pop girl groups. Their official YouTube channel features four videos that have each amassed over 1.7 billion views, including the music videos for ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ (2.2 billion views), ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ (2 billion views), and ‘BOOMBAYAH’ (1.7 billion views).

The explosive view count of their choreography videos highlights BLACKPINK’s unique appeal and the intense global interest in their performances. The main ‘HOW YOU LIKE THAT’ music video has also recently surpassed 1.3 billion views, continuing to draw significant popularity and anticipation for future releases.

‘HOW YOU LIKE THAT’ carries a message of soaring high despite any situation and won the ‘Song of The Summer’ at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards. It was also named the ‘Global Top Summer Song’ by YouTube that year.

The track also achieved impressive chart success. It scored a ‘Perfect All-Kill’ on the domestic charts, reached number 2 on Spotify’s Global Top 50, and was ranked 20th on the UK Official Singles Top 100 and 33rd on the Billboard Hot 100, marking notable achievements in the mainstream pop market.

To date, BLACKPINK has released a total of 47 music videos with over 100 million views each, demonstrating their enduring strength on YouTube.
