TREASURE Lights Up Kobe’s Landmark Port Tower in Blue
[스포츠월드=최정아 기자] TREASURE has illuminated Port Tower, the iconic landmark of Kobe, Japan, in a striking blue, the color symbolizing the group, further proving their immense local popularity.
According to YG Entertainment on the 27th, TREASURE has been collaborating with Port Tower since the 19th for a special event. As part of the “2025 TREASURE FAN CONCERT [SPECIAL MOMENT] IN JAPAN,” the group has transformed the renowned Kobe site into a pop-up store.
The songs from their recently released special mini-album [PLEASURE] are being played as BGM throughout all floors, filling the tower with TREASURE’s musical world. Member portraits are featured on the admission tickets, and life-size stickers of the members are installed in key areas, including the rooftop and observation deck, creating special photo spots for fans.
The venue also offers a gallery that showcases TREASURE’s journey since their official debut in Japan in 2021, along with official fan concert merchandise, exclusive collaboration items available only during this event, and commemorative dessert menus. The event has been drawing massive crowds.
A particular highlight took place from April 22 to 24, when the exterior of Port Tower was lit up in blue. Numerous photos capturing this scene flooded social media, drawing major attention. Fans warmly received the display, saying it resembled TREASURE’s official light stick, the TEU-LIGHT.
The pop-up store event extends beyond Kobe Port Tower to Osaka (April 19 to 27), Aichi (April 26 to May 6), Fukuoka (May 1 to 7), and Tokyo (May 8 to 13 and May 14 to 18). Additionally, across 92 locations in Japan, TREASURE frames in collaboration with Photoism and various goods created in partnership with famed Japanese artist Coin Parking Delivery are being showcased.
Meanwhile, TREASURE, who recently kicked off their global fan concert tour across nine cities with 17 performances, successfully completed their first-ever North American tour with shows in New York, Washington D.C., Oakland, and Los Angeles. In Japan, starting with their Hyogo concert on the 23rd, they will continue to meet fans in Aichi, Fukuoka, and Saitama.
