YG Entertainment posted ‘YG NEXT MONSTER | EVELLI – ‘Nosebleeds’’ on its official blog on the 28th. The video captures the monthly evaluation, which is actually conducted every month, without any embellishment. EVELLI, an Australian trainee unveiled for the first time, selected Doechii’s ‘Nosebleeds,’ showcasing YG-style hip-hop identity.
As the music started, her mid-low voice, offering a charm opposite to her lovely visuals, instantly captured listeners’ ears. EVELLI rode the groove with a heavy tone and then delivered speedy rapping to match the accelerating beat, earning admiration for her excellent control of pace according to the dynamic sound transitions.
Her relaxed stage dominance, unbelievable for a 15-year-old, was also striking. The hip-hop swag exuded from her confident attitude, her stylish gestures, and rich expressiveness heightened the immersion. Moreover, EVELLI is growing into an ‘all-rounder’ artist, possessing not only top-tier vocal and rap skills but also proficiency in multiple languages such as Korean, English, and Spanish.
Previously, YG announced that the next girl group would be a four-member group and foreshadowed a promotion to sequentially introduce each member’s information. Just the fact that this group is the junior to BLACKPINK, who has firmly established themselves as top-tier artists, and BABYMONSTER, who has solidified a strong global presence as trusted live performers, is enough to stir extraordinary anticipation.
