2NE1 sweeps across daily music charts with ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’
2NE1’s new song ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ swept across 7 major daily charts on music websites.
DO YOU LOVE ME’ topped the newly updated daily charts on 7 major online music websites, Melon, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, Olleh, Daum and Soribada.
The new song not only knocked down South Korean music charts but also is sweeping across 5 iTunes charts including in Taiwan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
2NE1 revealed the music video of ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ in the morning of August 8, and made their first television appearance with the song on Mnet’s M Countdown.
The music video of ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ drew much attention as it was a home-movie type video personally filmed by the members of 2NE1. Unlike their usual sensational outfits and stunning sets, 2NE1 this time portrays something ‘inexpensive’. The visual aspects of the video remind the watchers of the 60’s with its vintage feel.
‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ is a song produced by Teddy, DEE.P., and Lydia, a fun and rhythmical one perfect for summer.
2NE1, who announced they would appear on television music program once a week, kicked off their promotion starting with Mnet’s M Countdown on August 8, and will move on to KBS’s Music Bank, MBC’s Show! Music Center and SBS’s Inkigayo.
