SEUNGRI’s surprise appearance on Inkigayo, revealing the first MV teaser… ‘Couldn’t wait any longer”
[스타뉴스 길혜성 기자] SEUNGRI, who will reveal his 2nd mini album tomorrow, made a surprise appearance on Inkigayo.
In the afternoon of August 18, SEUNGRI appeared on SBS’s music ranking program Inkigayo, which is aired live in Seoul Deungchon’s Open Hall.
Just before he appeared on stage, the teaser video of the title song ‘GOTTA TALK TO U’ from his 2nd solo mini album was screened on the show for 15 seconds. This is the first time the song was ever revealed in public. ‘GOTTA TALK TO U’ is scheduled to be unveiled officially on August 19.
SEUNGRI, in a suit, talked to the 2 MC’s Lee Hyunwoo and Minah on the show. He told them, “I couldn’t wait any longer so I cam here.” And he moved on to give a short introduction to his title song ‘GOTTA TALK TO U’.
He added, “Tomorrow (August 19) at noon, my new songs will be unveiled. And I am sure you will like them. I have a special comeback performance prepared for next week on Inkigayo.” And he smiled delightfully to the fans.
SEUNGRI did not perform on stage this time, but his brief appearance on Inkiagyo was more than enough to quench the thirst of the long-awaited fans.
All the songs in his 2nd solo mini album ‘LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE’ will be revealed on August 19. The album’s offline sale begins on August 21.
The latest album will be SEUNGRI’s new album in 2 years and 7 months, since the double title songs in his 1st mini album ‘VVIP’ and ‘WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO’ in 2011.
Not only did he self-wrote, composed and produced all 6 songs in the newest album, but he was also in charge of the album production. His 2nd album will showcase his capabilities as a producer. The title song ‘GOTTA TALK TO U’ is a fast-paced but lyrical House song.
