PSY gives high praises after seeing KCON’s GD + Missy Elliott performance
[OSEN=임영진 기자] PSY, after watching G-DRAGON and MISSY ELLIOTT’s collaborated performance on August 25 at Mnet’s M COUNTDOWN WHAT’S UP which was held in Los Angeles, gave high praises to the two artists.
According to the related personnel, PSY chose the particular performance as the most memorable one amongst all M COUNTDOWN WHAT’S UP performances. Before watching the show, he tweeted his current state with a photo of him and Missy Elliott.
He said, “They contributed greatly to spreading K culture to the world. I am so impressed that the performance ended in enormous success in L.A. Looking at the performance joined by 20,000 spectators, I felt very proud as a South Korean artist.”
South Korea’s baseballer Ryu Hyun Jin was also present at M COUNTDOWN WHAT’S UP, and at the post-performance dinner, he applauded the K-Pop artists by meeting them personally and telling them they were awesome.
To spread K culture and sustain K-Pop craze in the heart of world’s entertainment city, L.A., CJ E&M held a comprehensive K-culture festival KCON 2013 for two days on August 24 and 25.
