CEO Yang, “Pool of world famous musicians will feature in Psy’s album”
[OSEN=박현민 기자] The founder of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk, commented, “In Psy’s new album, there will be a pool of world famous musicians who will surprise everyone.”
CEO Yang told the reporters after G-DRAGON’s 2013 World Tour ONE OF A KIND was finished in the afternoon of September 1 at Seoul Bangi Olympic Park.
He said, “There are remarkable musicians participating in Psy’s latest album. There will be names on the list that you have never ever imagined. Psy has been dreaming about this, and when you see the names on the list, it won’t make sense to anyone in the world. It’s that surprising.”
About the new song, he commented, “We’re not sure whether it would be English or Korean. We do not feel the need to produce English songs. Nothing has been confirmed about it being a single or a regular album, but in America artists usually release singles more.”
Yang also told the reporters that Yoo Geon Hyung, who has worked with Psy for ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’, is staying in the U.S. with Psy to work on his latest song.
Meanwhile, Psy drew attention by participating in ‘M COUNTDOWN WHAT’S UP L.A.’ in Los Angeles on August 25. He gave high praises to G-DRAGON and Missy Elliott for their astonishing collaboration performance of ‘Niliria.’
