Top’s “Commitment” Tops Box Office.. What Its Record Will Be after National College Entrance Exam Ends?

[OSEN=최나영 기자] Actor Choi Seung Hyun (Big Bang member Top)’s movie “Commitment” (producer Park Hong Soo) has topped the box-office.

 

According to statistics of Korea Film Commission’s integrated network of box-office data, “Commitment” is ranked in the top place of box office as of the 6, the day on which it is released, by attracting 125,672 viewers on 588 screens nationwide.

 

“Commitment” is a story of a North-Korean spy Myung Hoon dispatched to South Korea for killing (played by Choi Seung Hyun), who struggles to protect his younger sister Hye In (played by Kim Yoo Jung) who is left in North Korea and his South-Korean friend Hye In (played by Han Yeri). This movie is something to be hailed by Choi Seung Hyun’s fans. It is expected to gain a stronger momentum in attracting viewers from the second day of its release, the day when the national college entrance exam ends.

 

“Thor: Dark World” dropped to the second behind “Commitment”, recording 75,180 viewers on the day and 1,270,643 total viewers.

 

“Accomplice” is ranked in the third place, with 34,448 viewers on the day and total 1,439,316 viewers nationwide. “Gravity” and “No Breathing” are following, in the 4th and 5th places respectively.
