The music video of world-star PSY’s new song “HANGOVER” has surpassed 60 million views on YouTube, within six days from its release.
As of the 16 at 7am, the number of views of “HANGOVER”’s music video on YouTube recorded 60,407,193. The record was achieved within only six days from the release of the video, adding 10 million views a day on average.
At the time of the music video’s release, whether it can create a mega hit was doubted, as some people gave unfavorable reviews to it. However, looking at the number of YouTube views until the 16, it can be said that the video has achieved success.
With a “HANGOVER” craze, a large number of parody videos have been created. “Gangnam Style”, which made PSY a world-star, also saw many parody videos which added momentum to his snowballing popularity back then.
