TAEYANG’s “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” Has Taken No.1 on Monthly Chart… “Like a Zombie”
[OSEN=박현민 기자] “Eyes, Nose, Lips”, the title track of singer TAEYANG’s second solo album, has taken the No.1 on Gaon’s monthly chart for June.
According to Gaon chart disclosed in the afternoon on the 10, “Eyes, Nose, Lips”, the title track of TAEYANG’s second full-lenght album, recorded the No.1 on monthly digital chart and streaming chart for June. Plus, it took the top place on the streaming and karaoke weekly chart as well.
Even though it has already been six month since the release of “Eyes, Nose, Lips” on June 2 at 12 o’clock in the night, it is still dominating top places on music charts, beating many new songs that come into charts, as shown by its No.1 place on Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon.
The unending popularity of “Eyes, Nose, Lips” has given the song a nickname “Zom, Nose, Lips” in comparison with the unending life of zombies, drawing a big attention on the Internet.
Meanwhile, TAEYANG’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” has taken the No.1 not only on Gaon chart but also on June chart of Olleh Music, Genie, Daum, Naver, and Cyworld. It has also took the top place in cable channel Mnet’s M-countdown” and SBS “INKIGAYO” for three weeks in a row. Plus, total eight No.1 trophies have gone to the song in MBC’s “Show! Music Center” and KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank”, etc.
