WINNER holds Signing Event: “Special Fan Service”
[OSEN=김윤지 기자] YG Entertainment’s new group WINNER is holding a signing event in celebration of their album release.
According to YG on August 16, WINNER will be holding their first “Singing Event for WINNER DEBUT ALBUM 2014 S/S Release” on August 22 at 8 pm at Grand Hilton Hotel located in Seoul’s Seodaemungu.
Anyone who purchases the album from M2U Seoul Seodaemungu Shinchon branch can enter the event that is open to entries from August 16 to 3pm on August 19. The announcement of selected fans will be made on the M2U Shinchon branch’s blog on August 19 at 5 pm.
This event will invite 300 fans in total, including 100 selected fans from M2U Shinchon branch, 10 from WINNER’s official online café and 190 spectators. Further details can be checked on YG’s official homepage and M2U Shinchon branch’s blog.
WINNER has topped 6 charts with their debut title track “EMPTY” for 5 weeks in a row. At noon of August 16, the song released at 0 hour on August 12 stood at the top of Melon, Bugs, Olleh Music, Genie, Naver Music and Monkey 3. It is simply unbelievable.
The double title tracks “EMPTY,” “COLOR RING” and other songs are ranked in the top 10 on many charts, but WINNER is also topping global iTunes in Cambodia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. Their popularity is borderless.
On August 15, they performed “EMPTY” live at the AIA REAL LIFE: NOW FESTIVAL 2014 held at Jamsil Sports Complex.
