YG Unveiled Video of Fashion Brand “NONAGON”’s Launching Party

[OSEN=김사라 기자] The video of “NONAGON”’s launching party has been disclosed in surprise. “NONAGON” is a global young street causal fashion brand presented by “Natural 9”, a company jointly established by YG Entertainment (“YG”) and Samsung Cheil Industries.

On the 25 at 3pm, video of “NONAGON”’s launching party that was held on the 11 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was uploaded on YG’s official blog and YG’s YouTube channel. The video looks like a sensual “fashion film”, in which the highlights scenes of the launching party edited intensively are catching the eyes with background music of “GO”, a song of “YG’s new generation” BOBBY. BOBBY has recently been appearing in “MIX & MATCH” show, after winning Mnet’s rapper survival “Show Me The Money 3”.

The video features stars including PSY, BIGBANG, 2NE1’s CL, DARA, MINZY, EPIK HIGH’s MITHRA JIN and DJ TUKUTZ, CHA SEUNG WON, CHOI JI WOO, and BOBBY, who are making poses in front of photo wall and enjoying the party freely. Plus, fashion models walking in “NONAGON”’s outfits and BOBBY’s powerful and dynamic performance of “GO” in the launching party are displayed in the video, too. Other than the celebratory performance and launching party, a nonagon-shaped cage that represents “NONAGON”, stuffed tiger, show-piece costumes, and Galaxy Tab monument made with Samsung Electronics were featured in the video, drawing much attention.

YG Family including YG’s head producer YANG HYUN SUK, YG and “Natural 9”’s president YANG MIN SUK, and YG artists, as well as world-famous fashion people such as 10 Corso Como’s founder Carla Sozzani and Hong Kong I.T’s president Kawaisham attended the party with a big interest in “NONAGON”. Sozzani and president Kawaisham will operate “NONAGON”’s global pop-up store jointly with “Natural 9”.

After the launching party, “NONAGON”’s pop-up store was opened in the luxury goods part of Galleria Department Store located in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, on the 12 this month. The store prepared stock for two weeks of sales, but all of them were sold out in only four days, proving fashion people’s high expectations for “NONAGON” brand.

“NONAGON” has opened global pop-up stores not only in Korea at Galleria Department Store in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, but also in overseas cities, at 10 Corso Como’s main store in Milan, Italy, in Shanghai, China, and at I.T in Hong Kong. On the 19, another pop-up store was opened in Cheongdam store of 10 Corso Como, on the 26, at BEAKER’s Cheongdam and Hannam Store, to create a new sensation in Korea’s fashion market.
