AKMU’s “Time and Fallen Leaves” Proves to be Perfect Song for Fall Season, Topping All Music Charts
[조이뉴스24 이미영기자] YG Entertainment’s brother-sister duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (or AKMU) came back with a perfect song for fall, dominating the No. 1 on real-time charts of music-streaming websites for two consecutive days with their new song “Time and Fallen Leaves.”
On the 10 this month, AKMU unveiled their new song “Time and Fallen Leaves” was revealed at 12 a.m. on Oct. 10 on music-streaming websites, topping all nine music charts including Melon, Olleh Music, Ginie, Bugs, Daum Music, NAVER Music, Soribada, and Monkey 3, once again proving their true musical talents.
The popularity of AKMU’s new song shows that their talents unique color in music are being recognized by the public as the song was released at a time when many veteran singers also released their new songs.
“Time and Fallen Leaves” is a hidden track that was not included in AKMU’s debut album “PLAY” in April. The song was composed and written by LEE CHAN HYUK. The poetic lyrics are especially impressive, displaying AKMU’s mature side in contrast to their charming appeal in previous songs.
“Time and Fallen Leaves” is a perfect song to be listening to in this season of fall, capturing the fans’ ears with its beautiful harmony of the string session and piano sound, as well as the sweet voices of LEE CHAN HYUK AND LEE SOO HYUN. Meanwhile, AKMU will hold “AKMU’s 1st National Tour Concert AKMU Camp” from November 21 to 23 at Blue Square Samsung Card Hall located in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
