YG’s NEW UNIT: 2 Female + 1 Male… Who Would It Be?
[OSEN=김사라 기자] It seems like the New Unit that will be showcased by YG on Nov 11 will consist of 2 female and 1 male artists.
On Nov 2 at 3pm, YG posted a teaser poster with a caption “WHO’S NEXT? 2014.11.11 0AM” beneath the image of 2 female and 1 male, their faces under veil. In the midst of the growing rumor that YG will be debuting a new girl group soon, all eyes have been on the agency to see who the New Unit will be.
By adding another photograph of a male artist, YG unveiled its sensational New Unit. At noon and midnight of Nov 1, two images were added of a woman in a black see-through top and another in a bubbly outfit, hinting that it would be a female duo.
So fans are trying to figure out who the three artists are going to be. Many mentioned YG’s MINZY, LEE HI and LEE SU HYUN while others predict that the New Unit will consist of new girl members of YG.
After its first teaser on Oct 27, it unveiled its second one that read “1+1” on Oct 29. On the 31 the third teaser read, “WHO’S NEXT” while the fourth one hinted “NEW UNIT.”
As YG now hints a group of 2 female and 1 male artists, something no one has predicted, it is expected to bring a sensation in the music industry. It happens every time YG artists make a comeback or a debut. PSY, BIGBANG, 2NE1, EPIK HIGH, to name a few, with the new artists LEE HI, AKDONG MUSICIAN and WINNER.YG Family’s power is getting only stronger as all these artists are hugely successful.
This year only 2NE1, AKDONG MUSICIAN and TAEYANG’s solo already swept across the Korean music market.
