iKON’s MIX & MATCH Popular in Japan: On Air from Dec 29
[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG Entertainment’s new boy group iKON was finalized on Mnet’s survival program “MIX & MATCH,” and the show will be aired in Japan from December.
On Nov 7, Japan’s Oricon Style said, “The final 7 members of iKON are determined through the program MIX & MATCH. On Dec 29 and 30, the program will be aired on CS channel in Japan.”
It commented, “iKON belongs to YG Entertainment where big stars like 2NE1 and BIGBANG were produced, and the new group proved their popularity as the tickets for fan-meeting in Japan sold out instantly. The 2-month project won the hearts of the viewers for sure.”
The final members of iKON are B.I, BOBBY, KIM JINHWAN, KOO JUNHOE, SONG YUNHYEONG, KIM DONGHYUK, and JUNG CHANWOO. They will officially have their first performance by opening BIGBANG’s Japan’s 5 Largest Dome Tour that begins in Nagoya on Nov 15 and 16.
