iKON holds a concert right after their debut… All tickets are sold out upon the opening of the sale
[TV리포트=김예나 기자] Rookie idol group iKON holds a concert right after their debut. The tickets for the concert were all sold out upon the beginning of the ticket sale.
According to iKON’s label YG Entertainment, iKON will hold debut concert “SHOWTIME” on October 3 at 6pm, at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul. In the on-line ticketing that began on the 16 at 8pm, all tickets were sold out upon the opening of the sale.
YG insider said, “iKON holds a concert at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall with a large scale, right after their debut. It is a very rare case for a rookie group. The fact that all the tickets were sold out within such a short period of time shows that music fans have high interest in and expectations for iKON.”
iKON’s warm-up single “MY TYPE” released on the 15 this month has been sweeping music charts. On October 1, “DEBUT HALF ALBUM – ‘WELCOM BACK’” will be released.
At the debut concert, iKON will have open conversation with fans about the process of preparation for their debut album and about their debut.
For fans who failed to get the ticket in the first ticket opening, second ticket sale will be opened again.
