iKON, successfully finishing their first Japan fan meeting.. singing ‘RHYTHM TA’ with 26,000 fans
[스타뉴스=김미화 기자] iKON rounded off their first Japan fan meeting tour “iKON FAN MEETING 2015 JAPAN iKONTACT” in a great success, fascinating local fans.
The fan meeting tour began in Tokyo on the 10 this month, to have total 12 meetings in Aichi, Fukuoka, and Osaka, drawing 26,600 fans. It was finished on the 27, at ZEPP TOKYO. Even though iKON has yet to make an official debut in Japan, as many as 200,000 fans had submitted their application for the fan meetings, showing iKON’s big popularity in the country.
The concept for the fan meeting tour was “school”, so iKON members staged a variety of talks and games, in the format of ethics, art, and physical training classes. Plus, in the second half of the meetings, iKON excited fans by presenting fun and interesting performances in the format of a music class.
iKON’s original and powerful performances were the highlight of the fan meetings. iKON staged perfect and powerful performances of the songs of their debut album including “WELCOME BACK”, “RHYTHM TA”, and “TODAY”. They caught the eyes of fans by staging the performances of “MY TYPE”, “AIRPLANE”, and ‘RHYTHM TA” in Japanese.
iKON members expressed their gratitude to Japanese fans who passionately acclaimed for them, saying, “We were really happy that you welcomed us and enjoyed the time with us. We’ll come back with music you can enjoy in January next year, so please wait for us”.
After the successful finale of the Japan fan meeting tour, iKON will release the Japanese versions of “MY TYPE”, ‘AIRPLANE”, and “RHYTHM TA” on Japan’s iTunes and music-streaming websites. Plus, they will release Japan debut album in January and hold their first Japan arena tour “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2016” in February in 2016, to unveil their true appeals to Japanese fans in earnest.
