iKON unveiled disciplined performance of “APOLOGY”… “Eye-catching
[헤럴드경제 이슈팀] Group iKON is drawing attention, releasing a choreography video of their new song “APOLOGY”.
iKON’s label YG Entertainment posted the choreography video of iKON’s “APOLOGY” on November 18 on the company’s official blog.
In the video, iKON members are practicing the choreography for “APOLOGY”, wearing comfortable but unique outfits. A tender but disciplined choreography for group dance which goes well with the song’s lyrics that sing the pain of a sad breakup is catching the eyes, along with the free performance of each member for their respective parts.
iKON’s “APOLOGY” is a slow R&B song that expresses a man’s sorrow and pain of breaking up with his lover. iKON member B.I and BOBBY directly took part in writing the song’s lyrics, with YG’s main producer TEDDY and KUSH also taking part in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of the song.
iKON’s “APOLOGY” and B.I & BOBBY unit team’s “ANTHEM” released on November 16 swept No.1 and No.2 places on music charts upon their release. On the third day from their release, the two songs are still staying in top ranks on major music charts.
The music videos of the two songs are also recording rapidly-growing number of views on YouTube. As of November 18 at noon, the videos of “APOLOGY” and “ANTHEM” are recording 2,003,000 views and 1,507,000 views respectively, surpassing 3.5 million views in combination.
Meanwhile, iKON will release a full album on December 14.
