“KOONG” and “MACHINE GUN” of ZION.T&KUSH to be Released as Digital Singles on June 29
[마이데일리=최지예 기자] ZION.T is to release “KOONG” and “MACHINE GUN” at 12 AM on June 29.
At 12 AM on June 29, “KOONG” and “MACHINE GUN” will be released as digital singles. ZION.T and KUSH performed the songs for the producers’ performance on Mnet’s “Show Me The Money 5”.
“KOONG” is ZION.T’s solo song and has frank and impressive lyrics. “MACHINE GUN” is performed by ZION.T, KUSH, and SONG MINHO, and fans can see the special chemistry between the so-called “YG family” members.
After their performance aired, the two songs became a big issue, and many fans requested the songs to be released online. However, there were no plans to release the songs, and the songs were not even included in the show’s contract. Since “KOONG” and “MACHINE GUN” were made to be performed on TV only, ZION.T and KUSH had to do the recording, mixing, and mastering again to make them appropriate for release.
ZION.T and KUSH, who wrote and composed the songs, did not expect the songs to be released at first. But to accommodate the fans’ request, they decided to release “KOONG” and “MACHINE GUN” as digital singles.
