SECHSKIES Enters Hall of Fame at 2016 Melon Music Awards
[일간스포츠=황지영 기자] SECHSKIES became a Hall of Fame recipient at the 2016 Melon Music Awards.
The 2016 Melon Music Awards took place at 7 PM on November 19 at the Gochuck Sky Dome, Seoul and was aired live.
Upon announcement, SECHSKIES was very touched and said, “Hi, we’re SECHSKIES.” The group leader EUN JI WON said, “It’s been such a long time since we’ve attended an award ceremony. Maybe more than 16 years. We will set a good example as one of the first generation idol groups.”
The 2016 Melon Music Awards was aired live via Melon’s website and app, Melon Ajitalk, MBC every1, MBC Music, Daum, KakaoTV, the 1theK channel on YouTube, China’s QQ Music, and Japan’s MUSIC ON! TV1 and was watched by K-Pop fans from all around the world. Awards were given in a total of 23 categories, which include four awards in the new artist category, two in the most popular category, and the best artist, best album, and the best song award.
