[Issue IS] Reason Why Producer Na Young-seok Chose WINNER’s SONG MIN HO
[일간스포츠=박정선 기자] Why did Na Young-seok, who got the Midas touch and the gift for seeking talents for variety shows, chose WINNER’s SONG MIN HO?
SONG MIN HO is to join the cast of New Journey To The West Season 3, which is to premiere on January 8. Considering that he is to join the show with Kyuhyun, who has a lot of experience in doing variety shows, it seemed that Na Young-seok is making a big bet.
The only experience SONG MIN HO has in doing variety shows is on Show Me The Money 4. He did make appearances on JTBC’s Half-moon Friends and MBC every1’s Weekly Idol,but always as a group and never by himself.
Why did Na Young-seok chose him to become a new member of the cast of New Journey To The West Season 3? Sources confirmed, “Na Young-seok went through almost all the members of idol groups to find the right person. And SONG MIN HO was the one that he liked. After watching all the videos of SONG MIN HO,Na Young-seok became certain that he was the one and decided to ask him to join the cast.”
It is well known that Na Young-seok has a knack for seeking variety show stars as seen in the cases of Lee Seo-jin, Ahn Jae-hyun, and Yun Kun-sang. Na Young-seok finds the charm in a person and helps them play their own unique role in a show. Na Young-seok has helped a number of stars to build new images after appearing his show. In Ahn Jae-hyun’s case, he was able to shed off his image of being a terrible actor thanks to Na Young-seok.
Now, Na Young-seok is betting on SONG MIN HO. And, it turns out that SONG MIN HO has exceeded people’s expectations by doing well during the shooting. Let’s hope that Na Young-seok has made the right decision in choosing SONG MIN HO as the new cast member of New Journey To The West Season 3.
