[Exclusive] iKON’s CHANWOO, Injured during a Music Video Shoot
[OSEN=김은애 기자] CHANWOO, the youngest member of YG’s popular boy group iKON, sprained his ankle while shooting a music video for the group’s new song.
According to industry insiders, CHANWOO slipped and sprained his ankle while shooting a music video for iKON’s new song. He was taken to a hospital right away. Doctors examined him and found no broken bones and just ligament damage. All the members were relieved to hear the news.
YG commented, “It is true that iKON’s CHANWOO sprained his ankle during a music video shoot. He wanted to finish shooting the music video because it was almost over. But we decided that his health is more important and stopped the shoot. Luckily, the doctors said that CHANWOO will be well enough to do the dome tour concert in Yokohama this weekend if he doesn’t vigorous dance moves.”
Consequently, the music video shoot got delayed, and this is expected to cause a huge loss to YG as it has already paid for the set, equipments, and staff. However, YG decided that it is better to lose money than to risk a member’s health.
Meanwhile, iKON is almost ready to release its album and make a comeback following WINNER.
