DAESUNG’s Japan Album to be Released Online in Korea too on March 28

[텐아시아=현지민 기자] Korean fans will also be able to listen to DAESUNG’s new mini-album “D-DAY”.

In celebration of his first Japan solo dome tour, DAESUNG is to release a mini-album titled “D-DAY” on April 12. The album will be released online on March 28 in both Korea and Japan.

DAESUNG debuted as a solo singer in Japan with his “D’scover” album in 2013. Since then, he has actively carried out promotions and held concerts. He is very popular in Japan so much so that he even held his first solo concert this year.  

The “D-DAY” album has seven tracks that show how much DAESUNG has grown as an artist. He produced the album along with Kameda Sage as the sound producer. DAESUNG collaborated with renowned Japanese musicians such as Hata Motohiro, Mizuno Yoshiki, and Ayaka for his new album.

DAESUNG’s “D’scover” album was released in February 2013 and was ranked No.2 on Oricon’s weekly albums chart. It was the first time that a Korean solo singer’s album ranked so high on the Oricon chart. His next album, “D’slove”, took the No.1 spot on Oricon’s daily albums chart and No.2 spot on its weekly albums chart, proving DAESUNG’s huge popularity in Japan.

Meanwhile, DAESUNG will hold solo concerts at the Seibu Dome on April 15-16 and at the Kyocera Dome on April 22-23. He will be holding four concerts in two cities, and 200,000 of his fans are expected to attend the concerts.
