[Oh!SSEN FOCUS] BANG YE DAM’s Group From YG to Appear on JYP’s ‘Stray Kids’

A battle of pride between YG and JYP will take place once again. This time, it’s a battle between upcoming boy groups of two agencies that represent K-pop. It could be a stimulus to each other, but also an opportunity to present themselves before debut. It’s a battle born through YANG HYUN SUK and Park Jin Young’s long-lasting friendship and loyalty. Although the two agencies are rivals in the K-pop scene, the two producers help each other find hidden gems through battles.
YG’s boy group, which BANG YE DAM is part of 7 members, will battle a new boy group from JYP that will launch through Mnet’s ‘Stray Kids’. BANG YE DAM’s group recently took part in the filming process of ‘Stray Kids’.
3 out of 10 YG trainees recently participated in JTBC’s ‘MIXNINE’, so the remaining 7 members took part. As YANG HYUN SUK’s principle is to “exclude trainees from other audition programs”, the 7 members are the ones that did not take part in ‘MIXNINE’. BANG YE DAM is the lead vocal in the group with his extraordinary talent.
The battle of upcoming boy groups from YG and JYP will be revealed through the program airing on November 14. The battle between YG and JYP that will be held once again, is having people in excitement.
Battle between YG and JYP is a traditional survival method. Through various survival programs, BIGBANG, 2PM, WINNER, iKON, and TWICE was born. Recently, trainees of JYP took the audition in YG’s ‘MIXNINE’, and Park Jin Young judged trainees of YG in ‘MIXNINE’. It’s a long-lasting friendship and loyalty.
The battle between the two can also be a chance to verify the talents and qualifications of YG and JYP’s trainees. They are rookies from two agencies with different characters, but they can stimulate each other or create synergy effects. It also applies to BANG YE DAM’s 7-member group who will soon make debut, battling trainees of JYP in ‘Stray Kids’.
Furthermore, in YG and JYP, Se7en, Rain, BIGBANG, 2PM, WINNER, iKON, GOT7, DAY6, and others have consistently battle each other for evaluation. YANG HYUN SUK and Park Jin Young revealed this fact through Mnet’s ‘WIN: WHO IS NEXT”, which aired on 2013.
YG’s upcoming boy group with BANG YE DAM and CHOI RAE SUNG as members will be revealed for the first time through ‘Stray Kids’. It’s a battle of pride, but also a strategical decision by YG and JYP as it will be a good stimulus to each other. ‘Stray Kids’ following up ‘MIXNINE’ is already putting the viewers in excitement.
