WINNER’s ‘REALLY REALLY’ Surpasses 100 Million ‘Chart-In’ Streams for the First Time as Male Idol Group
[스포츠조선=조윤선 기자] Group WINNER surpassed 100 million ‘chart-in’ streams for the first time among male idol groups.
According to Gaon’s Weekly Streaming Chart on January 4, WINNER’s ‘REALLY REALLY’ surpassed 100 million streams, proving WINNER’s consistent popularity.
WINNER established their position as an artist group by setting a milestone of surpassing 100 million streams on the 39th week since its release of ‘REALLY REALLY’ on April 4, 2017 at 4PM. They now have the record as the only idol group to record 100 million ‘chart-in’ streams in 2017.
‘Chart-in’ indicates that the song was never ranked lower than 100th place in the weekly chart since its release. This record is meaningful since WINNER reached 100 million ‘chart-in’ streams for the first time ever as a male idol group.
Meanwhile, WINNER have displayed their presence by conquering charts not only in Korea but also charts overseas, with their lead-single ‘REALLY REALLY’ from their album ‘FATE NUMBER FOR’ released on April. They also got closer to the public this year by starring in tvN’s reality program, ‘New Journey to the West Spinoff – Youth Over Flowers’.
